Mental Health Care

Depression, anxiety, and ADHD — evaluated carefully, with time to get the diagnosis right.

Mental health symptoms are common, treatable, and often tangled up with the rest of your health. Depression can look like a thyroid problem; anxiety can look like too much caffeine or too little sleep; what gets labeled as an attention problem sometimes turns out to be something else. Sorting that out takes more than a fifteen-minute visit. This practice offers longer appointments, careful diagnosis, and treatment grounded in evidence — including medication when it's the right tool, alongside attention to sleep, nutrition, and the physical contributors that rushed visits tend to skip.

Overview

WHAT THIS COVERS

Care for the most common mental health concerns in adults, including:

  • Depression and persistent low mood

  • Anxiety, including generalized anxiety and panic

  • ADHD — evaluation and ongoing medication management (DEA-licensed in Oregon)

  • Sleep problems that drive or worsen mood and focus

  • Physical contributors — thyroid, iron, vitamin levels, medication side effects — worked up as part of the picture

WHAT TO EXPECT

Care starts with a comprehensive first visit: a full review of your history, current symptoms, past treatment, and current medications. When it's useful, labs help rule out physical contributors like thyroid or iron, so we're treating the right thing. From there you'll get a clear plan — medication, targeted lifestyle work, or both — with follow-up visits to see how it's working and adjust. The aim is steady, longitudinal care from a doctor who knows your case, not a new face every visit.
